(1) After the counting of votes has been started by the election officer, the counting of votes shall be done continuously until the counting of votes is finished.
(2) If due to uncontrollable circumstances, the work of counting of votes has to be stopped in the middle, the election officer shall seal the counted ballots, the counting records, the ballots that are yet to be counted and the attachments of the ballot boxes that are yet to be counted and seal them in separate envelopes, bags or sacks. The candidate or his election representative or counting representative can also put his stamp on such envelope, bag or sack.
(3) The work of vote counting that has been stopped according to sub-section (2) should be restarted as soon as possible. In this way, the notice of re-commencement of the counting of votes shall be given to the candidate or his election representative or the counting representative present at such place and shall also be published at the place of counting of votes. However, the fact that a candidate or a candidate's representative did not attend will not be deemed to have hindered the work of counting votes.
